Plan application approved for Andfjord Salmon fish farm at Breivik

Andfjord Salmon can start now to develop its land-based fish farming facility at Breivik, Andøya. As, the Andøy municipality council has approved the zoning plan application. This specifies the use, conservation, and design of land and physical surroundings.

Therefore, the zoning plan for Andøy Industripark Breivik consists of a detailed land-use plan map with associated planning provisions and a plan description. The company will target a production volume of 25,000 tonnes of HOG. 

Regarding this update, CEO Martin Rasmussen commented: "Developing and operating fish farming facilities in harmony with the local environment, while capitalizing on the natural advantages of being located at Andøya, is at the core of Andfjord Salmon's business plan."
