HAV Group's contract party, NGT, earned ISO 9001:2015 certification for its Quality Management System

The technology services provider for maritime and marine industries, HAV Group, will supply its solutions to two live fish carriers dedicated to the aquaculture sector. The value of the contract exceeds NOK 20 million ($1.8 million).
HAV Group's contract party, Norwegian Greentech AS, develops and manufactures water treatment systems. NGT's Ballast Water Management Systems (BWMS) are approved for use in all water salinities: fresh, brackish, and marine, with no required holding time. This division reported at the end of the third quarter last year an order backlog of NOK 46 million.
Last year, NGT earned ISO 9001:2015 certification for its Quality Management System. Also, it launched a commercial initiative in 2023 to provide complete solutions for emission reduction in short-sea transport.
"The observant shareholder sees that water treatment packages to the aquaculture industry are considerably larger than standard-size ballast water treatment systems. This is also reflected in the contract value, as this contract is a good example of, " HAV Group CEO Gunnar Larsen said.
The Norwegian Group has provided its services to over 800 vessels worldwide and more than 30 water treatment systems on board live fish carriers.
