Pioneering Norwegian business Planktonic, supplying cryopreserved zooplankton feed to hatcheries worldwide, has announced the addition of Akrivi Flaka to its team as a new Technical Expert.
With a background that includes various managerial roles in several hatcheries and overseeing large-scale industrial productions of different species, Flaka also holds a BSc in aquaculture and an MSc in waste treatment systems and management.
In her LinkedIn profile, the new recruit of the ready-to-use live fish feed supplier defines herself as "a professional in the aquaculture industry with extensive experience in fish breeding, larvae culture, and nursery management."
An experience that the fish larvae specialist has developed in well-known companies such as Selonda, or its successor, Avramar, where her last position prior to her arrival at Planktonic was Supervisor in the hatchery of the company's Breeding Center.

As he told WeAreAquaculture, the company produces natural, top-quality feed for marine fish and crustaceans such as shrimp in a ready-to-use, off-the-shelf solution. That principle is what first convinces customers and gets their attention, but, once their interest is achieved, it's time for testing, and that's when Planktonic's technical experts - Akrivi Flaka's position - travel to their customers' facilities to work hand-in-hand with them.
Precisely in her reaction on LinkedIn to the words of Planktonic's Global Sales Director, Flaka said that she is ready to give her best to support the company's goals and is looking forward to the journey ahead and the experiences it will bring.
