Tom Johan Austrheim
Nordic Aqua Partners AS has appointed Tom Johan Austrheim as its new CFO. He takes over the role from Hjalti Hvitklett and will start no later than August 1, 2024.
According to a statement released by Nordic Aqua, Austrheim is coming from the position of CFO in Edda Wind ASA and has held several CFO positions during his career.
In more detail, the company has explained, "he will have an important role in the further financing and growth of the company, who now is in the process to move from Euronext Growth to Oslo Stock Exchange main list."
Nordic Aqua wants to move into the new phase as a fully integrated Atlantic salmon farming company. The aim is to reach a production of 20,000 tons in 2028. Beyond 20,000 tons, Nordic Aqua will be abler to grow to 50,000 tons at the same site.
Starting from the third quarter of 2023, the company relocated its headquarters from Denmark to Norway. The company also clarified that it still maintains its listing on Euronext Growth Oslo.
In addition, Nordic Aqua Partners announced in October the appointment of Andreas Thorud as the new Managing Director for its overall operational activities in China.
