Salmofood has signed an alliance with the MIRADAS COMPARTIDAS Foundation, which seeks to generate social transformation through labor inclusion programs, inclusive experiences, and recreational programs.
The Vitapro brand, which develops nutritional solutions, aims to enhance inclusion policies within the company. To achieve this, it will organize a series of talks to give a voice to people with disabilities.
Salmofood has committed to promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities within the company, supporting and improving the working conditions of employees with disabilities at Salmofood, and advocating for decentralization.
Through a post on their LinkedIn account, the company stated: "We are proud to be part of this experience and to form an alliance with the Miradas Compartidas Foundation! Together, we promote equal opportunities and a more inclusive future for everyone."
Salmofood was born in 1995 with the purpose of supplying the salmon industry with first quality feed, from its plant located 15 kilometers from Castro, Isla Grande of Chiloé, in Chile.
In 2012, it became part of Alicorp, a Peruvian company with a quarter of a century of experience in the aquaculture industry.
Today, the company has one of the most modern fish feed production plants in the world, with a capacity of 240,000 tons of feed per year in four process lines.
