Hence, in the search of this goal this January 30th and February 1st, they will be holding the first diversified Saudi Marine Exhibition and Conference of the Kingdom. This exhibition is attracting local and international organizations in the Aquaculture, Fisheries, and Seafood industries, as well as other marine sectors.
The conference will happen at the Hilton Riyad Hotel. Additionally, it is organized by City Events and the International Association of Exhibitions and Events. Sponsored by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. At the same time, Supervised by the National Fisheries Development Program. In conjunction with the International Year of Artisanal Fisheries And Aquaculture.
Above all, the event aims to highlight the importance and sustainability of these industries. As well as how to leverage and exploit these untapped resources to advance in different economical sectors. By addressing different relevant topics they want to achieve that goal. The domestic demand for fish in the Kingdom is about 383.000 tons per year, with close to 30.400 workers throughout the chain.
