Klädesholmen Seafood has announced the appointment of Jonas Lundberg as the new CEO. With long experience in the seafood and food industry, the new managing director comes from Leröy, where he has worked for the past 14 years. For the first four years, he was CFO at Leröy Sverige AB. Then, at Leröy Seafood AB, he held the position of Business Area Manager for two years, and for the last eight years, he has been the Plant Manager.

In its announcement, Klädesholmen Seafood emphasized that Lundberg has "a deep understanding of the market and of the challenges and opportunities that exist within the food industry". The company also says that, thanks to his experience in the fishing industry and his strong vision for the company, he has the right conditions to take over from Annika Fogelström Helmer.

She has been with the company for nine years, the last four as managing director, a period that the company has recognized as one of "strong growth and good relations with partners and customers". A job that Jonas Lundberg intends to continue.

"In Klädesholmen Seafood, I see great potential for growth and development. I am very impressed by the company's focus on high quality and sustainability. I look forward to working with a fantastic team of employees and building together on the strong foundation that already exists here", he said.

Although announced in April, Lundberg took up his new position as CEO on March 27, 2023. The company, which in its statement on the appointment wished him a warm welcome, says it is convinced that he has the right skills and experience to lead the company into the future.

About Klädesholmen Seafood

Klädesholmen Seafood AB is a modern company based on generations of knowledge and experience. Klädesholmen is a well-known fishing village in the municipality of Tjörn, Bohuslän, Sweden, with a strong connection to herring that has been maintained generation after generation for hundreds of years. In 2002, the four remaining families involved in the business – Alax, Bråse, Klockbojen and PK – decided to merge into a joint venture called Klädesholmen Seafood, a unified brand that aims to preserve the Swedish herring tradition while growing stronger and expanding their market opportunities. The company is one of Sweden's leading producers of herring and caviar products.
