David Märkl-Bilger has over 15 years of experience in the aquaculture industry and is now the new managing partner and CEO of the German aquaculture systems developer Water-proved.

Märkl-Bilger has a proven track record in the industry and at Water-proved. This includes various positions as operations manager of several salmonid and sturgeon farms in Central Europe as well as experience as a project manager at Water-proved. Thus, Märkl-Bilger will be the next person in charge of continuing the success of the facilities advised by Water-proved.

Water-proved is a German company founded in 2011 by Alexander Rose, which has established itself as an engineering and supply partner for aquaculture. The company is able to design and assemble complete RAS and flow-through installations, as well as modernize existing fish farms.

Therefore, in the position of CEO, David would be responsible for commercial activities, particularly sales and purchasing management. He would also be responsible for the management of key accounts and the financial department.

About Water-proved

Water-proved is a company that produce water treatment systems for the aquaculture industry. It works both in assembling complete RAS and flow-through installations as well as retrofitting them. In addition, the company also designs and supplies tailor-made or individually adapted components for aquaculture, such as drum filters.
