WeAreAquaculture spoke to David Hodges, the US global investor determined to warn politicians and the public about the "hidden penalties of Norway's proposed new tax.
"We want to ensure that the community receives its rightful share of the value created from the exploitation of our common natural resources," said Norwegian Minister of Finance.
The new council is expected to be appointed before Christmas, and will have power to set binding prices for salmon in order to calculate what income is subject to Norway's ground rent tax.
