Salmon producer AquaChile has inaugurated its first branch in Miami, US, which includes offices for sales and administration teams, loading docks, fresh product storage, and a processing area.
"We are very excited about this new space, which reinforces our commitment to the American market and will allow us to provide a more personalized service to deliver our fresh, high-quality salmon in the most efficient way possible," a company's statement reads.
According to AquaChile's report for the third quarter and the nine months ended September 30, 2024, the Chilean company experienced a significant improvement in its profitability compared to the previous year.
Moreover, it launched its Competitive Fund, which aims to support and finance social organizations projects in the regions where the company operates. Finally, AquaChile completed its first salmon transport using liquefied natural gas (LNG) trucks in Chile.
"More than 80 people are now part of the AquaChile family. Additionally, the design of the new branch will ensure higher quality and fresher salmon for American consumers," AquaChile's General Manager Sady Delgado added.
