Bioriginal Food & Science Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Cooke Inc., has presented a sustainable line of omega-3 fish, algal, and plant-based oils developed with POS Biosciences technology.
Regarding fish oil, Bioriginal has access to a reliable and sustainable source of it thanks to Cooke's production. Also, the algae harvested are in nature and repurposed into a renewable production process as a self-replicating source. Finally, the flax oils are managed through responsible farming practices in the pristine Canadian prairies.
According to Cooke, Bioriginal will track the entire product from farm to shelf. POS Biosciences functions are to concentrate, refine, deodorize, and blend oils, with customized flavor and odor properties.

In February, Bioriginal acquired POS Biosciences Corp. (POS), a Canadian company that develops ingredients and process technology.
As a result of this, the group now has eight factories on two continents, supported by regional offices in Anaheim (California, the U.S.), Den Bommel (the Netherlands), and Yokohama (Japan), as well as eighteen warehouses worldwide.
