Aquaculture feed manufacturer Skretting has appointed current Skretting Norway MD Håvard Walde as the new Managing Director of its global salmon business unit, according to a LinkedIn update.
Walde will now take the helm of Skretting's worldwide salmon business operations in North America, Chile, and Australia, in addition to those in Norway.
The Norwegian executive brings plenty of experience to his new global role, having worked for Skretting Norway for the past 17 years, the last five of which he has been its Managing Director. Prior to this, Walde was Skretting Norway's Finance Director from 2007 to 2020.
