Visscher Seafood Group has announced the appointment of two executives to its advisory board: Arjan Both, Senior Vice President of Global Food Sourcing at Walmart, and Patrice Flanagan, Vice President at US seafood distributor Slade Gorton.
As Senior Vice President of Global Food Sourcing at Walmart, Both has experience in the retail and consumer goods sectors and will "significantly" make better the Group expansion through the global retail market.
Secondly, Flanagan, with over 35 years of experience in the seafood industry, her knowledge of seafood distribution will help to manage with challenges and opportunities of the US market.
Regarding these announcements, CEO of Visscher Seafood Group Tim Brouwer expressed: "We are thrilled to welcome Arjan and Patrice to our advisory board. Their impressive track records and profound knowledge of the industry will provide invaluable guidance on our path to growth."
The Visscher Seafood Group is one of the major processors and distributors of farmed salmon and whitefish from the North Atlantic. In 2023, the Group acquired the trading activities of Norway Royal Salmon (NRS) from SalMar.
