The Spanish technology company Satlink has incorporated nke Group, a French company with over 40 years of experience in designing instruments for measuring and monitoring water quality in oceans and freshwater, as well as for navigation.

With this move, Satlink enhances its data collection and analysis solutions through nke's expertise in water monitoring — all based on proprietary technology — to better understand, protect, and manage ocean resources.

This creates the largest independent European platform serving more than 10,000 organizations — including governments, research institutions, industrial partners, and NGOs — in over 130 countries, with 13 offices across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, and a global network of local partners.

nke, which is headquartered in Hennebont (Brittany, France), will continue to operate under its own brand, and its management team will remain unchanged, ensuring business continuity and preserving the company's identity.

Also, nke CEO Alain Boschet will join Satlink as an investor, alongside the current shareholders: Apheon, Artá Capital, Faustino Velasco, and the rest of the Satlink management team.

Furthermore, the transaction includes the integration of Aquaread, a UK-based company that is part of the nke group and specializes in the development of portable and fixed instruments for monitoring the quality of inland and coastal waters.

Regarding this, Founder and Executive Chairman of Satlink, Faustino Velasco, stated: "We are delighted to welcome the nke team, as we join forces to further accelerate our innovation capabilities, expand our range of solutions, and ultimately enhance ocean knowledge and sustainability through proprietary technology."

"Joining forces with Satlink represents a unique opportunity to accelerate our growth and expand our international presence, while strengthening our R&D capabilities," added Boschet.
