The supplier of premium frozen seafood, PanaPesca USA, has announced a sustainable sourcing partnership with Cedar Key Aquaculture Farms (CKAF), a family-owned company dedicated to farming clams in the Gulf of America, off Florida's Nature Coast.

Through this partnership, PanaPesca will source hand-farmed littleneck clams from CKAF, strengthening its supply chain with a fully traceable product, from the Gulf floor to the consumer's table.

"CKAF's hands-on farming approach, generations of expertise, and commitment to the Gulf align perfectly with our own commitment to quality and sustainability," said Michael Davis, CEO and founder of PanaPesca.

Its farming method helps filter water in the area where the activity takes place. It requires no land and does not deplete wild resources. Founded in the 1990s, the company is a multigenerational family business that currently produces more than 100 million clams annually.

"Working with PanaPesca gives us the opportunity to bring that promise to more tables while staying true to the hands-on, sustainable approach we have followed for three decades," said Dan Solano, founder of Cedar Key Aquaculture Farms.

This year, PanaPesca has been strengthening its commercial team with new hires to support its expansion across both retail and foodservice channels.

Key appointments include Gary Wooten as Retail Sales Director, bringing experience from major retailers such as Walmart and Sam’s Club; Noah Clark as Regional Sales Manager; and Nancy Brooks as Vice President of Sales.
