The industry equipment provider Brimmond has completed its first aquaculture net cleaning campaign on the West Coast of Scotland. This campaign also includes a customer care package.
Additionally, the company has critical spare parts in stock that can be quickly deployed to provide technical support and maintenance to customers when needed.
According to Brimmond, no other business in the UK offers a full 360o manufacture, rental, and support package for high-pressure net cleaning pumps for the offshore aquaculture sector.
For this reason, Brimmond invested approximately £450K to provide the high-end pump units, NetJet™. The Aberdeenshire-based engineering specialists designed, specified, and manufactured the pump units.
Regarding this project, Managing Director of Brimmond, Tom Murdoch said: "Developing such a high-end piece of technology from initial concept through to an aquaculture net cleaning campaign on a West Coast fish farm, has truly been a team effort."
"We worked closely with our customers to establish vital details such as vessel footprint, location, deck fastenings, connections, and fittings," he explained.
Brimmond participated in Aquaculture UK celebrated 14-15 May in Aviemore, Scotland. It hosted over 200 exhibitors worldwide with various products, services, and advice for fish farmers, farm managers, and aquaculture business professionals.
