Camanchaca and Salmones Camanchaca renewed their Boards

The Chilean seafood company and its salmon subsidiary announced the names of their Boards of Directors for the period 2026-2029.

During their respective 2026 Annual General Meetings, both Camanchaca and its subsidiary, Salmones Camanchaca, announced the renewal of their Boards of Directors for the upcoming 2026-2029 term. The meeting also marked the departure from both Boards of Camanchaca's Vice President, co-founder of the Chilean seafood group and a Board member for several decades, Francisco Cifuentes Correa.

"Francisco, along with my father Jorge Fernández Valdés, had the drive, the vision and the ability to contribute decisively to the formation and development of this great company, which today is a relevant player worldwide in the seafood industry," Camanchaca President Jorge Fernández García said during the Board meeting, commenting on Cifuentes Correa's departure.

"Throughout his career, Francisco was a leader and role model for many at Camanchaca, standing out for his constant drive, his deep passion for doing things right, and his ability to transmit enthusiasm and confidence in the future," he continued.

"For my brothers and me, he was also a mentor who generously dedicated his time to training us in the fishing business, sharing both its challenges and its opportunities," added Fernández Valdés, on a more personal note.

For his part, Camanchaca's General Manager, Ricardo García Holtz, also had a word for him. "Francisco Cifuentes has been a very significant figure for Camanchaca, and his business vision, commitment, and leadership have left a deep mark on the company. He deserves our sincerest gratitude for his invaluable contribution over all these years," he stated.

Camacha Board members: rich and varied experience and capabilities

According to Camanchaca's announcement, the individuals chosen to form its Board for the next three years are the company's President, Jorge Fernández García, who is repeating, as are Claudio Inglesi Nieto, and independent members Tina Rosenfeld Kreisselmeyer and Josefina Montenegro Araneda. New additions include Pablo Campino Edwards, Nicolás Campino Rodríguez, and Janet Awad Pérez.

Regarding the new additions, Camanchaca said that Pablo Campino Edwards is a Commercial Engineer and has outstanding experience as a Board member and executive in various companies, including the industrial and insurance sectors.

Also a Commercial Engineer, Nicolás Campino Rodríguez, for his part, currently serves as General Manager of Schryver Logistics Chile. He has extensive experience in the logistics and shipping sector, having held executive positions in international companies and led operations in Latin America and the United States.

Finally, Janet Awad Pérez is a Board member of companies and NGOs, with experience in corporate governance, marketing, and risk management based on ESG criteria. Camanchaca highlighted her extensive experience in multinational service and consumer goods companies, leading businesses in Latin America, managing talent from diverse cultural backgrounds, developing sustainable growth strategies, and driving transformation processes.

Commenting on the new Board composition, Camanchaca's General Manager, Ricardo García Holtz, said: "As Management, we value the rich and varied experience and capabilities of the Board members, all of whom are crucial to facing Camanchaca's future challenges and maintaining our commitment to operational excellence, sustainability, and long-term value creation."

The renewal of the Board comes just a few weeks after the Chilean seafood company reported a 90% increase in profit year-on-year in the presentation of the results corresponding to the year 2025.

Salmones Camacha Board members: essential to face the challenges ahead

Likewise, as mentioned above, Camanchaca's salmon farming subsidiary, Salmones Camanchaca, also took advantage of its 2026 Ordinary Shareholders' Meeting to carry out the renewal of its Board of Directors for the next period 2026-2029.

In this instance, Camanchaca's President, Jorge Fernández García, is repeating his role as Chairman also on Salmones Camanchaca's Board. Likewise, repeating to the Board are Camanchaca's General Manager, Ricardo García Holtz; Macarena Pérez Ojeda; and independent members Rodrigo Errázuriz Ruiz-Tagle and Joaquín Villarino Herrera.

In addition, following the departure of Francisco Cifuentes Correa from this Board too, two new members are joining: Fernando Rioseco Zorn, as an independent, and Claudio Inglesi Nieto, who, although as mentioned, is already a member of the parent company's Board, now also joins that of its salmon subsidiary.

Regarding his career, the company noted that Inglesi Nieto is a Civil Industrial Engineer and MBA and has a distinguished executive career in the Quiñenco group, as well as in international companies, in addition to consulting experience in firms such as McKinsey, BCG and Deutsche Bank.

Fernando Rioseco Zorn, for his part, is a Civil Engineer and MBA, with more than 20 years of executive experience in sectors such as mining, real estate and food, having held positions such as General Manager of the Alkasa Group and currently serving as an independent Board member in companies such as SalfaCorp and Cintac.

García Holtz also had words for all of them, highlighting their extensive and diverse career paths, as well as their capabilities, which he said: "are fundamental to addressing the challenges ahead for Salmones Camanchaca and to sustaining our commitment to operational excellence, sustainability and long-term value creation."

As with its parent company, the new members of the Board of Directors of Salmones Camanchaca also find the company in a solid position, after closing 2025 with a 38% EBITDA increase year-on-year.
