The aquaculture and fish tracking technology company Innovasea has announced two new appointments: Torstein Mellingen has been named the new Director of Sales for the EMEA region, while Sigve Naustdal will be the new Managing Director of Norway.

With these two appointments, the company, headquartered in Boston, aims to meet the needs of its existing European customers and strategically expand into emerging markets. One of the key tasks will be to secure strategic hires in Norway and Greece.

"Their insight and experience will be critical as we continue to scale our operations and deliver innovative, impactful technology to farms," Innovasea VP Tim Stone said.

Mellingen, who has served as Innovasea's Business Development Manager, will oversee the company's sales operations for the EMEA region. Naustdal, who is succeeding Rudi Seim, has also served as Director of Technical Services in Norway and will work alongside Mellingen in Innovasea's recruitment process.

Regarding his appointment, Mellingen noted: "I'm excited to help shape a team that's agile, customer-focused, and equipped to deliver real value in every interaction. Our goal is to build off Innovasea's strong history of innovation and relationship building to deliver next-level equipment, technology, and service."

Finally, Naustdal indicated: "By redefining existing roles and creating new ones, we will be able to leverage the skills of our team to better meet the needs of our customers."
