Kraken Robotics Inc. has appointed Nathaniel Spencer as its new Chief Operating Officer. After the PanGeo Subsea acquisition in August 2021, where Spencer was the Vice President of Service Delivery, he joined the company.
The new COO has more than 12 years of experience in the marine sector. In 2016, he founded a subsea inspection business that was sold to Oceaneering. For the last 18 months, he has been the Managing Director of Kraken’s subsea power business.
Regarding this appointment, Greg Reid, Kraken's President and CEO said: "Combined with the rest of our Executive Management team including Joe MacKay (CFO), Dave Shea (CTO), and Lynne Adu (CCO) our organization is now well structured to handle strong organic growth and integrate selective acquisitions that add additional technology, customers, and profitability to our business."
On the other hand, Erica Kierstead has been hired as the new Director of Global Marketing. She has 10 years of experience in ocean technology and the defense industries. Most recently, Kierstead has focused on the AI and Bluetech sectors, and for 2 years she has dealt with marketing and communications at MITRE.
