Nomad Foods Limited has announced the appointment of Ruben Baldew as Chief Financial Officer. He will succeed Samy Zekhout, who will remain with the company until July 31 to assist in the transition of his duties.
From 2018 until October 2023, Baldew was the Chief Financial Officer of Accell Group where he acquired valuable experience in global consumer products.
Before Accell Group, he occupied several finance roles at Unilever with broad, international experience in the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, and Thailand.
Regarding this hiring, CEO Stefan Descheemaeker said: "We are delighted to welcome Ruben to Nomad Foods. He is a dynamic leader with extensive experience in both financial leadership as well as other senior executive positions which will bolster our strong foundations and strategic plans."
