Alicorp has announced that Hugo Carrillo, General Manager of its subsidiary Vitapro S.A., has decided to embark on a new stage in his professional life. He has been in this role for the past 7 years. Carrillo will remain in his position until January 30, 2024.
He will be succeeded by Fabricio Vargas, who has been leading the shrimp business since 2019. According to the company, Vargas has more than 16 years of experience in the animal nutrition industry.
Alicorp stated that "Fabricio will face the challenge of continuing to drive the consolidation of the subsidiary in his new role as General Manager, starting from February 1, 2024."
Vitapro is a Latin American company within Alicorp, a leader in nutritional solutions for aquaculture. For over 30 years, it has developed specialized solutions through its brands Nicovita and Salmofood.
