Industry association Sjømatbedriftene says it will convene a committee to draft a national framework and roadmap aimed at improving fish welfare in aquaculture.
FAI’s new platform provides multilingual training and practical tools to help farmers measure and improve fish welfare, prepare for certification and improve farm performance.
The project will examine farming practices in Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam while supporting local researchers and providing postgraduate scholarships.
