The North Atlantic Seafood Forum has introduced the sustainability award for the first time this year, with the winner due to be revealed during the event on 3 March.
The three have launched the Ocean Stewardship Initiative, whose main objective is to support the creation of a protected area in Antarctica, the main krill harvesting zone.
The company says all of its own-label wild fish and seafood now come from certified sustainable fisheries, and claims to be the first frozen food retailer in the world to do so.
