The project, led by the University of Vigo in Galicia, uses proteins derived from filamentous fungi fermented with industrial macroalgae waste to produce proteins.
The development is part of the OceanGreen project led by Ava Ocean, in which Akvaplan-niva is a partner together with NIBIO, NIVA, Biocare, and Rissa Citizen Science.
