Aller Aqua has announced the appointment of Jesper Clausen as its new Group R&D Director. Prior, Clausen held the Global Nutrition and Technical Support Director role.
In more detail, the new Group R&D Director will lead the company’s feed and technical solutions for aquaculture. Jesper’s experience in global nutrition will allow research findings that meet the customers' needs.
Through a statement released on its website, Aller Aqua indicated: “Jesper's vision for a holistic approach to aqua nutrition, ensuring profitable production and a sustainable aquaculture way of thinking, perfectly complements our commitment to knowledge-sharing and fostering best practices within the aquaculture community.”
Aller Aqua produces fish feed for freshwater and saltwater aquaculture. It has factories in Denmark, Poland, Germany, Egypt, China, Zambia, and Serbia and exports products to more than 70 countries worldwide.
It offers a broad and professional product range, consisting of feed for 30 species of fish. Its professional development- and research center in Germany, Aller Aqua Research, consistently works on optimizing, developing, and documenting the effect of its products.
Aller Aqua acquired in 2022 the Danish producer of smoked trout fillets, Danforel to optimize fish farming and processing.
