Åsmund Aasebø is the new HMS/QA Manager at Fluctus

Fluctus has hired Åsmund Aasebø as its new Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and Quality Assurance (QA) Manager. He will start on the 1st of August and work from the company's head office in Austevoll, Western Norway.

Before, Aasebø was responsible for IT and Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) in Fjord Maritime. He is a pedagogue and has several degrees in IT, a statement released by the company reads.

Regarding his hiring, the new HMS/QA manager said: "Becoming part of the Fluctus team is very exciting. Fluctus is a company I have followed since its inception, and it is a bonus that the company is located in the village I grew up in. I have gradually gained many years of experience with quality work and system building, and look forward to being able to contribute my knowledge to the organization."

On the other hand, Fluctus General Manager Harald Lien expressed: "Fluctus has grown as a company, also concerning products and geographical markets. We see a growing need to further structure and document the company's ongoing work with HSE/QA. Åsmund has experience and competence within both the professional field and the industry. We look forward to having him on the team."
