Pure Salmon Technology has announced the resignation next May of its current CEO, Kent Kongsdal Rasmussen, who has held the position for six years.

During these years, Kongsdal helped expand the Norwegian company's business with the acquisitions of HyFlow and Billund Aquaculture. Also, Pure Salmon secured exclusive rights to purchase Billund Aquaculture Australia and Billund Aquaculture Chile.

This came just one month after Billund Aquaculture filed for bankruptcy after failing to raise sufficient capital to continue operations following nearly 40 years in business.

Regarding this announcement, the veteran said: "With significant projects in Norway as well as an international project pipeline, and a solid aftermarket business, the company is well-positioned for future success. I look forward to my next professional chapter while cherishing the friendships and partnerships built over the years."

Luke Kellgren-Parker, next CEO

The Chairman and Founder of 8F Asset Management and Pure Salmon, Stephane Farouze, has confirmed that the current COO Luke Kellgren-Parker will be the next CEO.

"I have greatly valued Kent's leadership and the constructive collaboration we have had. His vision and dedication have been instrumental in shaping the company's trajectory. Under his leadership, Pure Salmon Technology has achieved significant progress, and we remain committed to our ambitious plans," Farouze stated.

Finally, the new CEO commented: "I was originally recruited by Kent and have worked closely with him over the years and I’m excited to be given the opportunity to take up the role as CEO. Kent and I will work closely together in the coming months to make a good transition, and I plan to communicate in more detail the leadership structure looking ahead."
