Seafood processor Sofina Foods Europe has expanded its senior leadership team with three new appointments to strengthen its operations in Europe.
The new Chief People Officer is Helen Watts, who joins from McCain Foods, where she worked for 18 years in various senior roles in the people function.
In addition, James Pirie joins as Chief Commercial Officer after 14 years in senior commercial and operational roles at Arla.
Finally, Stuart Herd joins as Chief Growth Officer, following a successful 20-year career at McCain Foods in a newly created role.

Sofina Foods Europe, a subsidiary of Sofina Foods Inc., is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of primary and further processed protein products for both retail and food service customers via its Karro, Young's Seafood, and Greenland Seafood subsidiaries and has operations across the UK, Ireland, France and Germany.
In 2022, Young's Seafood launched its biggest brand refresh in over 20 years. It included a new logo featuring its founder Elizabeth Young. The family company first started selling whitebait on the banks of the River Thames in 1805.
The seafood producer is headquartered in Malton, North Yorkshire, operating 21 manufacturing sites across the UK, Ireland, Germany, and France, employing approximately 8,000 people.
