BIM says its initiatives, including the Aquaculture Remote Classroom, aim to improve understanding of seafood production and attract younger people to careers in the sector.
The project, led by the Undersecretariat for Fisheries and Aquaculture (Subpesca), will explore the school cooperative model, with an emphasis on sustainability and territorial relevance.
Participants gained firsthand experience of Norway's whitefish sector, during a three-day tour organised by Seafood from Norway and Norwegian Frozen at Sea.
