The China Fisheries & Seafood Expo (CFSE) 2024, the largest seafood product fair in the Asian market, features 20 companies focused on the production and distribution of Ecuadorian shrimp: Aquagold, Cofimar, Crimasa, Edpacif, Empacreci, Empagran, Expalsa, Exportquilsa, Expotuna, Frigolandia, Limbomar, Nirsa, Oceantreasure, Omarsa, Procamaronex (Grupo Diosmar), Proexpo, Promarosa, Santa Priscila, Songa, and Total Seafood.

The Ecuador First Class Shrimp pavilion will cover an area of 467 m² at the International Convention and Exhibition Center in Qingdao, China, where the event takes place from October 30 to November 1.

In this way, the country aims to strengthen the presence of Ecuadorian shrimp in the Asian market, not only due to its production volume but also because of its quality and commitment to sustainability.

CFSE 2024 is a key platform for connecting Ecuadorian exporters with current clients and establishing new business opportunities that will allow Ecuadorian shrimp to reach more consumers.

"We are already working on 2025, preparing for new challenges at international fairs and activities that will allow us to convey, through Ecuador First Class Shrimp, the message of an industry proud to offer the world exceptional quality shrimp while maintaining its commitment to responsible production that cares for both the environment and society," said María Fernanda Vilches, Manager of International Fairs at the National Aquaculture Chamber (CNA).

The CNA continues its commitment to position Ecuador on relevant international commercial platforms, consolidating the country’s position in the competitive Asian market.

A few days ago at the Guayaquil Convention Center, the CNA organized AQUAEXPO 2024, Ecuador's most important shrimp event. This year's edition has featured, for the first time, a Sustainability Forum titled 'Race to the Top', organized by the Sustainable Shrimp Partnership (SSP).
