The aquaculture technology company Blue Aqua International Pte Ltd has confirmed "solid" progress at its high-tech rainbow trout RAS farm in Singapore (Smart Farm).
This farm, whose first phase is set to begin within the next 2 to 3 months, features highly technical and advanced systems and is expected to produce 3,000 metric tons of trout.
In 2023, Bahwan Services and Trading LLC (BSTL) and Muscat Investment House LLC (MIH), two leading Omani companies, confirmed their investment in this same project.

Currently, Blue Aqua operates a super-intensive shrimp farm in Singapore, certified by the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC). Also, in collaboration with SCD Probiotics, the company plans to build a manufacturing facility to produce probiotics and enzymes for the global aquaculture market.
