The aquaculture feed production facility in Vietnam, BioMar Viet Uc, has achieved ASC Feed Certification, becoming the first ASC-certified production facility within BioMar's operations in Asia.

The facility supplies feed for shrimp and fish farming across key aquaculture markets in the region and joins BioMar's extensive global network of ASC-certified feed production facilities.

Just a couple of weeks ago, BioMar's subsidiary in Türkiye, BioMar Sagun, became the first aquaculture feed manufacturer in the country to meet the requirements of the new version of the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) certification.

The certified feed meets rigorous requirements covering environmental responsibility, social and labour rights, health and safety, and the responsible sourcing of raw materials.

"This certification strengthens our ability to support farmers working towards ASC certification while reaffirming our commitment to responsible aquaculture throughout the region," confirmed Duong Tu, Managing Director of BioMar Viet-Uc.

BioMar's global ASC-certified production network spans countries across Europe, Latin America, Oceania and Asia. In 2025 alone, several of the feed company's plants in France, Spain, Norway and Costa Rica obtained ASC certification, demonstrating BioMar's commitment to supporting its customers in meeting evolving certification and market requirements.
