Seafood and Gender Equality (SAGE) has raised $715,000 in philanthropic grants, and is inviting seafood companies to join its next series of dialogues on workforce inclusivity.
Recruitment and role models, a workplace for everyone, a harassment-free work environment, and an adaptable workplace, the main points to be addressed.
"It's important for girls to have female role models showing this is a profession for them too," said Norwegian Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, Cecilie Myrseth.
