Irish seafood development agency BIM has released a series of information cards to help aquaculture operators identify and manage invasive species on their farms.
Caroline Bocquel is stepping down in November, after almost three years leading Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM), to take on a new role as head of Fáilte Ireland.
The restriction, which also applies to spiny lobster, comes after a comparability assessment of the legislation of countries exporting fishery products to the United States.
